Demi Batard LIVE: with Coppe, Nobukazu Takemura, Skab/T and more!

Demi Batard will be playing a short set tomorrow at Super-Deluxe in Nishi-Azabu, Tokyo, along with friends Coppe, Nobukazu Takemura, Skab/T, Aya, Marx, Legefriendly and more. The party is in celebration of Coppe's latest release "Fi'lamente", which incidentally, features tracks by Kettel, Senior Coconut, Plaid, Mickey the Cat, and also two tracks by Carson Labs' very own Demi Batard. For those who are in the Tokyo area, the show starts at 7:30 pm with a 1,500 yen cover charge. See Super-Deluxe for more details.

New tracks have been added to the Media page. Most are from the Carson Labs archives and represent some of our formative work. Selections from Datlog, Esa Straton, Dylan Thomas, AMPex, Max Rose, and any permutation of the above artists are available for your auditory consumption.

Sound Installation Alert! (First Thursday event)

AMPex has got himself involved in a seriously bizarre sound installation project that was conceptualized by comrade J. Tucker of the Rake Art Gallery. Their collaboration can be seen in action through April at "Kitchen Sink: step into my office" a collection of work, installations and performances at 520 NW Davis (2nd floor) Portland, OR.

- OPENING NITE is Thursday, April 5th from 7-11pm. The space will also?be open to the public for viewing (without performances) on Friday from6-9pm and Saturday from 12-6pm. LINK
